The CLI-8 / PGI-5 inkjet cartridge resetter allows you to restore the ink level function by resetting the chip so that the printer will recognize that the cartridge is now full of ink. This resetter will only reset original not the compatible chip.

How it works:

Simply place the cartridge in the cradle so that the chip can be pressed down onto the contact pins on the resetter. The light in the cartridge will flash once – keep the cartridge pressed down on the resetter until the light remains static. The programming has been successful and the cartridge can be removed. It’s as easy as that!

To reset PGI-5 carts remove the cradle.
